The seminar will include a number of short presentations addressing a variety of business challenges faced when doing business in the US.

On the Tax Side: We will be discussing the chronological process of setting up in the US including some of the pitfalls for new companies and how to avoid them. We will also focus on the areas to be aware of when entering the US market via a US entity or non-US entity.

On the IP Side: We will provide an overview of a complete range of issues, from patents to designs to trademarks, as well as the challenges of your Web presence (clue: it’s called the worldwide web for a reason); and then we’ll focus in on the do’s and don’ts of provisionals.
